Everyone in the family loved this recipe. Very easy...bake time is long, but the actual preparation time for the roast and gravy combined is only about 30 minutes. The gravy is the best I've ever had, and I'm from the south!

Delicious recipe for entertaining. Guests will be impressed. The gravy is amazing, but the recipe does make a lot of it. I used my left over gravy on grilled chicken breasts the next day.

The addition of the hot sauce with garlic cloves added far too much heat for most people! Unfortunately, we invited guests for dinner before we sampled the recipe...a big mistake!

This was a very good and tasty meal but the only problem i had was that this is almost a whole day process so im thinking thats why part of the recipe is named Sundays but its really a Sunday dinner if your not going anywhere, it took along time for sure but will make again

I would not make this again. I cut garlic in half for meat. Made recipe exactly the same otherwise. I like garlic but way too much still. Sauce was an interesting concept--but I like roux bases in gumbo--not gravy. No taste of pork came thru--just roux, mushrooms and beef favor. Better recipes for pork roast/boston butt exit. Sorry Emmeril

I made this yesterday for a special dinner with my parents. It was a smash hit. The pork was fork tender and SO juicy with a wonderful flavor. The gravy was awesome...even my picky; husband, 8 yr old and 3 yr old devoured it and went for 2nd's!
Fantastic Emeril...never disappointed!

My family came over for dinner last night and said this was the best pork roast they have ever had. I don't think I'll ever cook a pork roast any other way. It was to die for!!!

After reading the reviews of this recipe I wanted to try it for a dinner party I was having. It was DELICIOUS. A little time consuming, but it can all be prepared ahead of time. Just have to add juices to the gravy before serving. I am sure my friends will all love this.

This gravy is creamy and rich, a perfect compliment to roasted pork. It was a great hit. Lots of prep work, but well worth it.
