I made these squares for an office luncheon of all women. Everyone was wild about them. Several ladies said these squares reminded them of lemon squares their mothers made and brought back fond memories. Great recipe-easy to make.

This is the best lemon bar recipe I've found and I've used several. If you like fresh lemon, you'll enjoy this recipe. I opted to omit the alcohol and simply replaced it with more lemon juice. The waxed paper trick really came in handy too.
