    Really delicious lemon squares - so tangy & tasty.
    Recipe was not hard at all, but with quite a few steps I am not sure it should be rated "easy". I'll make this again anytime. Yum.

    I have several lemon trees, so this summer I was on a quest to find the ultimate lemon bar recipe. After trying about 8 different ones, I have finally found THE ONE! My husband and kids are my testers, and it was unanimous. These are the ultimate in taste,texture and ease of preparation. My search is over. Thanks you Emeril.

    i have been looking for the ultimate lemon bar recipe for years - this one is as close as i've come so far. it was very good. the filling was still slightly soft after chilling. i'd like a drier top so the powdered sugar doesn't just disappear - i'm going to try it with the lemon curd already made to see if that will help. the crust will stay crisp this way as well. any other suggestions?

    These are very good and lemony the way i like it. I took a short cut to make the crust, yellow cake mix 1 egg and 1 stick of butter worked out really good.

    It's hard to find solid, tart lemon squares and these are it! I love how easy this recipe is and how absolutely delicious the squares taste.

    My sister loves lime so I substituted lime for the lemon and they were the best we ever had. She was afraid she would eat too many so we put some in the freezer only to discover that they were even more delicious frozen!

    These are fabulous. The don't really yeild 24 nice size pieces; I would say 18. I will make again.

    OhMuhGah!! This was the BEST ever lemon bars if you L-O-V-E a big lemon flavor!! A must make for your lemon lovers! And FAST too!

    These are THE BEST lemon bars I have tasted in awhile. I wasn't sure about the adding of cornstarch to the crust at first but it came out delish! Definately lemony enough for me and not too sweet which I think ruins lemon bars in the first place. Thanks Emeril for a winner!

    PS.. by the way we have the same birthday. Lucky you! lol
