    My husband and I stopped in Lindsborg, KS and had Swedish Meatballs. I have been looking for a recipe that would compare. I need look no further.

    These meatballs do take a little extra time, but so does any homemade meatball. They are wonderful and the gravy is fantastic. I served the meatballs over mashed potatoes. YUMMY!!!

    I didn't make the meatballs themselves, and I switched the red currant jelly with black currant jelly, but it was still tasty and delicious!

    the recipe is great, but I'd recommend cutting back on the salt a bit and maybe having one person on the sauce and another on the meatballs, this is definitely a time sensitive recipe and demands alot of attention, but the end result is worth the perseverance!

    My husband and I loved this recipe! I would cut down on the salt a little...the longer it cooks, the saltier the dish gets. Great flavor though!

    I thought that this recipe was easy to follow and WOW!! One of the best meatballs I have ever had. Even my kids liked them....and they don't like anything.

    I decided to try these for our 4th of July party and they were a huge hit. Also I did not find them difficult to make at all, perhaps a little time consuming but using the small ice cream scoop saved the day.
