What a quick, delicious meal! We don't have a good chinese restaurant in our town, so I'm always on the lookout for good asian food I can make at home. I used chicken tenders, and removed the dried chilies before serving. Just the right amount of spice! My 13 year old can't wait to take it for lunch tomorrow.

I completely loved this recipe. The vegetables weren't as crunchy as I had hoped however, so I would recommend cooking the chicken first and then adding onions, bellpeppers etc. once the chicken is cooked so that you have a more fresh and crisp taste.

I cried becuse this was so great and as a college student finally being on my own and away from mama bear, I never thought I could cook this well. Thanks Emeril!

I live in Japan, and ever since I made this chicken at home, I stopped going to a certain Chinese restaurant just because I can make it better with this recipe. This sauce can also be used on different meats, I will be making it with fried flounder and different vegetables soon, I will update my review once I do that to let you all know how it went! Otherwise, I made it as directed, with extra bell peppers because me and the hubby just love those! I had a couple co-workers try it also and they were amazed, they think I can cook!

I added used extra peppers since everyone else who commented said that it wasn't that spicy (the hotter the better.I would definately tone the peppers down, and use the regular recipe (if not less if you have guests who do not like their meals as spicy. It was amazing and a deffinate new favorite! Prep work took longer than expected. I also made sure to cook and simmer the rice first since the actual chicken only took ten mins to make and needed consistant attention.

Very easy to make and tastes delicious! It is not that spicy so definitely add more peppers if you love it hot!

This was excellent. I did not have dark soy and it turned out well. I just used regular soy sauce for the dark soy ingredient. The chili garlic sauce can be found at a regular grocery store and the MAGGI brand is fantastic. I will make this recipe again! My boyfriend and I made this together and had a great time! It's a keeper!

very easy to prepare and make. You can adjust the hotness if you need to by adding more peppers or sauce.

I only used half of the dried red chiles (used arbol peppers since they were so huge, and it was still plenty spicy, but will probably throw a few more in next time. Used 2 lbs chicken breast so I doubled the "marinade". I also doubled the sauce amount for the extra chicken and because I like extra sauce, and served it over brown rice. Next time I'll put more red bell peppers and onions and possibly some matchstick carrots. Will definitely make again...especially since the bf loved it!
