This is a great way to dress up peas. Emeril's seasoning gives it that little something special. It had a good flavor. Thanks Emeril.

Tasty and very easy to make. Lacks a star, as the layers seemed to remain separate and the cheese was too hard for my preference. I also used already seasoned bread crumbs. The next time I try it, I think I'll mix my bread crumbs and cheese all together with the milk and cheese mixture instead of layering. Great twist for peas.

Not too impressed! Tasted just OK, but visually, very unappealing! The cream rose to the top over the bread crumbs and cheese, and looked quite unappetizing.

This is such a great way to use peas. Usually I just serve pease with a little butter, but this kicks it up a notch and was very flavorful. Definately a keeper!

This recipe is a step up from the usual creamed peas dish. I don't know whether or not the onion I used was a little too strong, since I thought it overpowered the dish. Next time I will use shallots. I also plan to add the cheese the last half of the cooking time so that is still softly melted. Putting in on for the entire time resulted in a harder crust than I wanted.

I made it as one of the side dishes to take to our thanksgiving meal at a friends house and it was gone first.

until my mother-in-law came across Emeril's Peas au Gratin. This has become a family favorite.

My mom just recently passed away, and being that this is our first Thanksgiving without her, I wanted to look up this recipe so I could make it tomorrow for my Dad, brother, kids, and husband. When she first found this recipe, we were all amazed at how wonderful it came out. It is a really simple recipe to put together and it puts such a nice spin on PEAS. If you just wanna whip up a quick side veggie, or you want to compliment a hearty Thanksgiving meal, this is a great recipe to try.

I am always looking for new ways to liven up veggie dishes. This was awesome! I broiled the top just a bit to brown the cheese and add some extra flavor. It was a hit!
