These are not a fluffy as I like my biscuits, however, it is quick and easy for a weeknight meal and good enough for that use. I try to keep it healthy when I can, so I used wheat flour. Use only 1 cup wheat flour but use the same amount of baking soda, powder, salt and sugar as called for in the original. Cut the butter in half and still used almost a whole cup of sweet potatoes. It made 10 nice small dinner biscuits. Not too dry but they do not taste like sweet potatoes. I also used buttermilk instead of 1/2 and 1/2 in hopes that they would be buttery soft but it was still fairly dense. Everyone else liked them just fine.

This recipe was very good. There were none left at the table after dinner. Buttery and delicious!

I made these for Thanksgiving to take the place of rolls and a seperate sweet potato dish. I think that I made them a little thinner than they should have been, but actually my guests raved about them. They were really easy to make. I'll try them again next year.

I was really disappointed because I wanted these biscuits to be awesome - they were dense and flat and sort of tasteless - I followed the recipe to the letter. I gave it three stars because maybe it was something I did while preparing the dough.

I cooked these for ten minutes instead of fifteen and added a small amount of cinnamon to the dough - they came out moist and delicious, will definitely make them again.

I used a cupcake pan instead of a biscuit cutter. The dough was to gooey but it turned out fine. I had some nuts left over so I sprinkled them on top as well. I served them warm with butter. I will definatly make these again!

I first used this recipe last year at the family Thanksgiving dinner. They went so fast I had to whip up another batch. They are wonderful with leftovers too.
