Love these! I've tried other taco recipes that came out bland, emerils recipe has tons of flavor and were so good. My husband and I both agreed this is our go to taco recipe. I made the guacamole and salsa also. Only thing I would change next time is cutting the salsa recipe in half. It made a lot!

This is the BEST! I have made a few adjusted the most notable being that I add chili powder, but there is so much flavor. It takes a litter longer than opening a package of shelf bought so called taco seasoning, but if you care about flavor, it is worth every little bit of slicing and dicing. We love it so much that I do it up in huge patches without the meat and can it. Spend one day doing that and you have instant taco seasoning with real flavors for months to come!!!

Very tasty, didn't change anything. my husband loved them too, He's a taco lover but never like this. And it was just as easy as the 'kit'. and the flavor doesn't compare! Thanks for a keeper!!

This rating is specifically for the taco meat portion of the recipe -- very good! A lot better than what you get from a powdered taco seasoning packet! The chipotle pepper seasoning adds just a small amount of kick to the flavor -- in a good way.

Excellent taco seasoning. I'll NEVER buy the commercial dry seasoning mixes again! Used only 2 Tbsp. cumin and 1/4 tsp. salt. You won't miss the lessened amount of salt here. Also, used plain water, not broth, and it was still fantastic. The chipotle pepper is a must; totally worth the extra cost over cayenne.

Very tasty! Next time I will leave out the garlic in the guacamole and dice the onions even finer. This was my first attempt at making a taco meal with all the fillings and it was so easy I will be making it again. This was a hit with the whole family.

I only made the beef taco filling, and it was delicious. It has just as much flavor as the packets, but it's better piece of mind to be able to control all of the ingredients used.
Since this is so easy, I'll definitely make it again.

so very yummy. I used pre-cooked shredded chicken breasts and chicken broth, and substituted dried arbol and guajillo peppers (soaked in hot water de-seeded and chopped fine. I had a little extra liquid which I drained and then added a bit of cornstarch for a taco sauce. so glad I can make my own delicious tacos without the store packet!
