Tarte au Sucre (Sugar Pie)

Ingredients
  • 1 cup maple sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients together. Pour into the pie shell and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before serving. Slice the pie into individual servings and serve warm.
