Too much salt in rub, everyone loved sauce. Will make these again and often without as much salt.

As I watched this recipe unfold on the show my mouth watered for the ribs. When I made these for family and friends while camping everyone said that they did not like Tequila. I made 2 different batches of ribs for this reason. These Tequila ribs were gone before I knew it. They were easy to make and absolutey wonderful tasting. The hint of Tequila is there but not over powering. They are stick to your finger licking ribs. I have had everyone ask for them again.

I made these ribs, and fed four family's. And everyone just loved them, but the hardest part was finding the guava jelly. But once i did they were a big hit. So thank you for the recipe.

Thanks Emeril, These were great and everybody wanted more. A great change from BBQ and smoke. This household will do more of these.

This isn't a bad recipe, but the best ribs are smoked. Outside, in a smoker. These ribs had a good flavor from the rub, but weren't nearly as tender as ribs smoked for 5-6 hours. The glaze was really good and helped, but if I want ribs, I'll smoke them.

Everyone loved these ribs. The glaze was delicious. The ribs were very tender. We cooked them in the oven Saturday, and finished them on the grill for the party Sunday. It was a nice change from your typical bbq sauced ribs. We will definitely make again.

    Emeril,
I made these with Seedless Blackberry and 5 pepper jelly instead of Guava (didn't use the Cayenne pepper either because of 5 pepper jelly also, I didn't have Guava. It turned out Fantastic! Then with leftover glaze I added worcestershire, teriyaki and A1 for a Ribeye steak glaze for the barbi... What a delight! In the rub for the steaks and ribs, I also used creole seasoning... I try to use what I have instead of going to the store! These were the best ribs ever!

Every time my best friend makes this, people are in disbelief as to how many ribs they can eat, including myself. I'm finally going to try it on my own for Valentine's Day for my husband. SO GOOD!!!
