    This was a great recipe and was easy to make. The only problem was the heat level. My mouth was on fire while I was eating it! Next time I make I'm going to leave out some of the herbs that would contribute to the heat level. All in all, a great recipe.

    I entered this receipe in the 22nd Annual Matt Artibee Chili Cook-Off in Austin, Texas and won 1st place for the best overall hottest chili. I had many compliments on this "pot of red". Try it you'll LOVE IT

    excellent recipe, but had to be toned down.used 1 jalepeno and 1 TBS of chipotle powder-- otherwise the heat would have been too much. We like heat. Taking to a friends house tonight. also added black beans & kidney beans & just ground venison.

    Shared this venison chili with my neighbors who also agreed it tasted great. Easy to make and tasts great too. I toned it down a little by reducing the jalapenos in half.

    This is a good dish that is easy to make. It is a little stewy because of the venison chunks. Easy to make (my first food network dish. Definately would recomend.
