This was a smashing hit. I have made it several times. Sometimes with chicken.
It is great to make and freeze for later & for potlucks. I didn't change a thing.

My family loved this meal! I used a precooked roast chicken from the grocery store which made it really easy. Can't wait for thanksgiving so I can make it with the leftovers!

I never knew what to do with all of the dark meat that no one will eat during Thanksgiving. I just put it in ziplock bags and saved it. Now I put it in this recipe and everyone practically licks the dishes clean. This is great and it will be the standard recipe for our leftovers. Thanks E.L.:

I actually used leftover Christmas ham, and it was wonderful. Even my kids, who can be picky, ate it.

My three children and I wanted some way to prepare a good meal using our Thanksgiving turkey leftovers. This was excellent! We joked about how we would have leftovers from the leftovers but not so. The entire casserole disappeared. My son (18 yrs. would not have salad because he didn't want to spoil the effect of the Shepherd's Pie!! I'm freezing the rest of the turkey so we can make this again. Thank you so much.

Made this for my family and everyone LOVED it. Even my two 2-year old boys. They called it nummy nummy. This is the first really good recipe I have seen and tried to use up all those turkey leftovers. I'm looking forward to more like this.

I love turkey so we have it much more than once a year. I always look forward to making this recipe. It is absolutely the best leftover turkey recipe I have found! Thanks again Emeril! You're the best!
