We left out the cayenne and dried cherries, and it's fabulous.

This is a great bark! Very easy & very decorative. The tangy cherries & the spicy pecans are a surprising & delicious complement to the chocolates. If I do this again I think I will substitute dark chocolate for the milk chocolate.

This is a wonderful bark. We soaked the cherries in rum--a tasty addition. Be carefulhow much cayenne you add. We like food spicy, but you just want a slight bite in this recipe.

I would just suggest substituting 1 cup molasses and 1 cup granulated sugar for every 1 cup of brown sugar.

My wife and I tried this bark when we were over at a friends house. This bark has to be tasted! It is incredible how delicious we found it to be. Everything in this recipe goes together for a wonderful taste.

Our friend said she found this recipe on this website and that it is Emiril's recipe.

We went to this website and found it and I made it a recipe for my Recipe Box immediately.
