ive made this for the past 8 years and substituted Craisins for the cherries. My friends, coworkers, family, kids friends and etc. absolutely go crazy over this stuff. I usually wind up making 3 pans of it!!! Everyone expects it every year!

    From peggy
I used 2 kinds of chocolate..mostly .dark chocolate and a small layer of lindt white chocolate with coconut ...and the cheerres and spiced pecans. Perfect combo. I found a better receipe online for the spiced pecans...it did not work for me..

I've made this three years in a row and it's become a tradition. Family, co-workers, and neighbors all wait in anticipation for the Three Chocolate Bark! Pretty, and easy to wrap.
Although Emeril melts all three chocolates at the same time, he has a big staff! I'd NEVER attempt to watch three bowls of melting chocolate at once. We melt one at a time, spread it, wash the bowl, and start the next.
Invest in good chocolate: get bulk blocks if you can rather than chips. I leave out the cherries, just don't like mixing fruit with my candy. I also add a bit of cayenne to the dark chocolate for an extra kick. I lay the nuts down first, then spread the melted chocolate over in layers. Turns out perfect.
This is a go-to gift from my kitchen that never fails to impress. Thanks, Emeril!!

Wonderful! If I have to damage my teeth...this is one great way to do it! I have made this several times exactly as written EXCEPT I have used various nut/fruit ingredients (e.g. macademia or almonds; apricots or golden raisins, etc. Final product is always delicious! Annie, Milpitas, CA

I made this for gifts for Christmas for my kids teachers. They love it!! I get asked for this recipe all the time. To make it easier I melt the chocolate in the microwave. I also use dried cranberries sometimes instead of the dried cherries and it's just as yummy!

I made this chocolate bark for gift bags and platters. It looks so pretty! I am glad to have this recipe. I took the advice from an earlier review and bake the nuts at a lower temp for a shorter time. I also used Sun-Maid Tart Cherries and they worked very well. It is hard not to want to sample the chocolate. Thank you Emeral for sharing this recipe.

The most delicious bark I've ever eaten! I was hesitant about the spiced pecans when I smelled them cooking in the oven and almost left them out....DON'T change a thing! Although melting the chocolate separately is a good recommendation. The combination of the chocolates, spiced pecans and cherries are wonderful and addictive. Our office asks for it each year.

I would like to make this bark - are the three different chocolates poured on top of each other to make three layers? Are they then swirled together? Thanks.

This is wonderful. It got a TON of compliments and plan to do again for holiday gifts. It uses a lot of pots and pans, but it's worth it.
