Just went to a holiday party and my friend had little bags wrapped in a silver bow for everyone. Inside was the chocolate bark... incredible! The chocolate is rich and smooth, love the spiced pecans and tart-sweetness of the cherries.
Needless to say, I just emailed her for the recipe so I can make them as gifts for the holiday!

This recipe is out of this world! I saw Emeril make it on a Christmas special 2 days ago and it looked so good I had to try it. I'm not a bark fan but I'm glad I tried it, this stuff is sinful. It's just the right amount of spice in the nuts and all three chocolates compliment each other well. I used sweet dark cherries instead of tart ones, they worked great. If you're afraid of the cayenne, put a little in anyway, you won't be sorry. And the salt, chocolate and salt, mmmmmmmmm. Enjoy!!!

I don't know what went wrong here- The semi-sweet and white chocolate behaved well, but the milk chocolate just siezed up- couldnt rescue it. Other than that, the pecans turned out nicely and my two chocolate version looks like it will taste good at least. I may have to try this again.

This was a big hit in my Holiday Goodie Basket I put together for friends and family. I used small pecan pieces b/c I bought the wrong ones and it still turned out GREAT!!

I made this for our church choir's "after Christmas concert" party and it was the bell of the food table!
EVERYONE wanted the recipe...the hint of cayenne pepper is a great idea.

Will make it again and again!

This turned out great! I can't stop eating it. I used Bittersweet chocolate instead of the semisweet and would like to try it with dark chocolate. The sweet chocolate is a cool contrast against the salty spicy nuts.
