Just celebrated my birthday by having some friends over for a BBQ. I often purchase bottled sangria and knew it would be too expensive to purchase the amount I needed. I decided to make my own and found this EASY recipe. I adjusted the amounts to get about 3 gallons of it. I added peach Dekuyper Peach Schnapps and used about 1/4 cup extra sugar. WOW!! This sangria was delicious. My guests really enjoyed it and everyone was asking for the recipe. This sangria WAS the life of the party.

I've made Sangria on a couple of different occasions and this was by far the best I've ever made. Followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfectly! The entire pitcher of sangria was gone in 10 minutes with people asking if I had any more!! Next time I'll make a double or triple the recipe.

This has become the weekend beverage of choice!! My husband and I make a picture on Friday night and sip all weekend. I have tried with several wines, but Sutter Home California Red Wine (lrg is excellent and inexpensive. Less orange juice keeps the bitterness, and add grapes. Enjoy!

This is a great and simple recipe; perfect to go with a good summer BBQ or picnic. I'll be making it again and trying a few variations with the ingredients.

This is my favorite "bring to party" beverage and a great way to drink chilled red wine in the summer.
Because I don't care for sweet drinks, I cut the sugar in half and I leave out the soda water so it will be a more concentrated wine flavor. Absolutely delicious.
Every time I take this to a get together it is gone and people want the recipe.
Don't forget to eat the wine soaked oranges and apples, YUM!

I dont like brandy but made this exactly as the recipe called. Really tasty, didnt taste the brandy at all. Would definitely make it again. Also, used a cheaper Spanish wine than Rioja and it was fine.

I made this for 4th of July and everyone loved it! I made a simple syrup instead of mixing in the sugar, substituted ginger ale for club soda, and add a healthy dash of peach schnapps before I served it. It was a huge success!

I made this for 4th of July last year- a double batch and it was gone in 2 hours. Everyone thought it was the best Sangria they've ever had. I used peach brandy and added 1/4 cup of Grand Marnier. I also added red grapes, peaches, plums and extra oranges and apples. It was loaded with fruit and delicious. I get constant requests to make this for parties. Emeril always comes through for me-his recipes are the best!

This is a wonderful recipe for Sangria! I had made it once before during the summer, and will be making it again for New Years Eve! It is very light and refreshing, and is great to accompany a meal or just to sit back and relax with friends. Try this, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

*If there is any left over wine (chances are there won't be!, make sure to take the fruit rines out before storing it in the fridge. I had make the mistake of leaving the fruit in the mixture, and the following day it was undrinkable, secondary to the leftover wine tasting like the rine of the fruit.

Really yummy. Added some Peach Schnapps right before I served it. My guests loved it and so did I. I will add this to my summer recipes.
