OMG!! Sooo good. I don't even write reviews but I was compelled to on this one... Thats how darn good this is! I live in new Orleans and this truly tastes like the authentic flavors here. I used roast chicken from the grocery because I didn't have any leftovers. After thanksgiving this is so gonna rock my too much turkey leftover world!!! But recipe is too good to hold out for holidays. Most def in the regular rotation! Emeril rocks!!!

Yum! I added much more Essence (probably 3 Tablespoons and mixed potato chips and breadcrumbs for the topping. I will make it again when we have Thanksgiving leftovers!

Oh this is fabulous. I only changed up a few things. I didn't butter the dish, i sprayed it with pam. Instead I used the butter 1tbls and mixed that with about 1/2 or 3/4 bread crumbs and 1/4 c. parmesean and used that for the topping instead of potato chips. Also added 1 tsp of cayenne to kick it up yet another notch. BAM! it was fabulous.

Wonderful! Great recipe for after holiday turkey. Added a little sherry, and used fried onions (from other review. Increased amount of garlic too. Husband loved it. Will make again, only when I am not on diet.

We make this every year with Thanksgiving's beer-brined, Cajun rubbed, smoked turkey. It's amazing. Cut the butter and salt, and ditch the chips to sub almonds on top. Use egg noodles, fettucine, angel hair, whatever blows your hair back.

Sooo Good! Made this for dinner tonight. Substituted chicken for turkey. It was pure yummy goodness! My husband said it was restaurant quality. The flavors all popped in your mouth. Didn't have potato chips on hand either so used fried onions in the can. Can't imagine how delicious it will taste with ALL the ingredients. Thanks Emeril!

I love this recipe; lots of flavor. How can you go wrong with 7 T of butter and 1 3/4 C of heavy cream? I seldom have turkey on-hand so I make this recipe with rotisserie chicken and instead of the potato chips, I top the casserole with panko.
