OMG good! I made homemade white bread and cut it into 1" cubes and let it dry out for the base. I am in love with the creole mixture that adds a little kick at the end and the freshness of the oysters. the stuffing came out so light and fluffy I just can't stop eating it! Thanks E! BAM!

I have made this turkey with the gravy for the past 5 years. Every single year it has been a success. I have never made the oyster stuffing, because I have never like oysters. But I have shared this recipe with coworkers and other family members, they all love it!

I made this for Thanksgiving, using a 24lb turkey. I doubled the recipe for the brine and syrup baste mixture. I made the syrup baste mixture in two batches. I poured the 1st batch over the Turkey while it was cooking upside down. Then when the turkey was flipped, I poured the second batch on the turkey. The turkey became a beautiful caramel brown by the end of cooking.

The oyster dressing and gravy did not turn out so good. It could be operator error on both of those. I'm more of a cornbread stuffing fan and my gravy never thickened. But I definitely recommend the turkey!!!

I love the taste of oysters but have family and friends who are squimish. I've learned over the years that if you cook the oysters separately, and forego the liquor, the taste is more balanced. I've done this for oyster dressing and seafood jambalaya. Try it!

From this page I only made the recipe for the oyster dressing. This was my first attempt at making dressing with oysters and the recipe turned out very well. I just question how much I like oyster dressing in general.

I always wanted to try Turkey with oyster dressing, but was afraid to try it. When you had this on television I desided to give it a try. Well it was so easy to do and tasted so good I am going to try it again for Easter. Thank you for this recipe. Sara

I did the brine with a turkey breast and a pork loin. Absolutely great! I will always brine now. The oyster dressing was not a big hit for my sister and girlfriend. "Too fishy" I loved it! This morning I went to the frig and bypassed all the pork, turk, ect. and went straight for the dressing. You like seafood? Do this!
