LOVE this recipe. It is so yummy. We have been looking for a new potato dish to go with our ribs and we found it!! I am a mother of 3 and a wife. My kids and husband are all picky eater and they ALL love this dish.. This recipe has gone into my favorite recipe books and will be a dish me and my family will enjoy over the years. I'm even making it for a get together with my in-laws tonight! I highly recommend everyone try this dish!

This casserole was out of this world. I made it for a dinner party of 9 and there was more than
enough for everyone to have seconds. My guests wanted the recipe and also wanted to bring
home a doggy bag. Takes a little work putting it all together, but so worth the time. yummy!!

Made a half recipe and did a couple of substitutions, 1% white cheddar, Greek yogurt for the sour cream and panko with olive oil and Parmesan in place of the cheese on top. Prepared it the day before and refrigerated it then brought it to room temp before cooking. It was excellent!

This recipe was fabulous. Very easy to complete. Great make ahead dish. I served it with Veal Osso Bucco.

Variations - eliminated the bacon, precooked the onions so they were soft and sprinkled chives and just a little parmesan cheese on top before baking.

Don't cut the recipe down if only serving 4-6 or so people. This dish makes for great left overs.

This was excellent. Instead of baking the potatoes I boiled them with the skins. Very tasty !

Followed the recipe and I thought it was good, not great. A lot of work/time for a dish that could be a little more flavorful.
