The combination of cilantro, lettuce, spearmint, and Nuoc Cham sauce makes this meal a delightful treat to the palate. I substituted grilled shrimp marinated in fish sauce, a dash of turmeric, and black pepper for the pork balls. Grilled shrimp cuts down on the cooking time.

the meatballs took a minute to make and I thought by reading the recipe that they would be really yummy but they were just ok. They were not worth the effort and I would not make them again.

Positively delicious. A mouthful of flavor. I used ground chicken instead of pork, and i added breadcrumbs instead of rice. I did'nt have to refrigerate them,- cooked them right away in a skillet and they came out perfect.
