Butter-Poached anything is wonderful! I made this dish along with Salmon. I grilled the salmon and served with some of the butter sauce from the Shrimp, and put the shrimp over linguine noodles it was terrific!

An easy and unique recipe that really takes shrimp to another level. The richness of the butter is perfectly balanced by the heat of the hot sauce and the acid of the lemon.

I have used this as a starter for dinner parties both with and without the hot sauce (my wife doesn't like spicy food. It has always been an "over-the-top" success. I have also used the technique of incorporating the butter in other sauces and soups with great success. Very rich. This soup is not on anybodys diet.

This was really yummy. It was easy and fast to prepare. ( I did marinade the shrimp for 2hours The flavors were really nice and it did have a zip to it. I love garlic so next time I think I will up the garlic by a clove. My husband raved about the tastiness. I certainly will be making this dish again.
