I just made this tonight. It was a hit. Everyone loved it. I have made it with the chicken wing package from the supermarket because i didn't want to cut chicken. It turned really really good.

I am a from Trinidad and we make curry dishes but the spices in this dish came together wonderful. I had a friend over and it was my first time trying this dish we could not stop commenting how good the curry chicken tasted
I did not add the additional pepper it was just perfect. I add two cans of chick peas the last 15 mins
Thank you Emeril for a great dish

This is the most amazing recipe - labor intensive to put together the curry if you aren't used to using all these spices but so so so worth it! I follow it to the letter and its perfect! Its now become the one chicken dish my partner asks for time and time again and is becoming a Saturday tradition! Fantastic Emeril!

My family have me making this dish every month,I found a Jamaican rice and peas recipe to go with it,My family LOVES IT!!!!! Of course I made some minor adjustments,we do not like too spicy food. This is the best curry recipe I have tried yet,and I have eaten in restaurants in New York City So I know authentic cuisine when I taste it. I have not tried to make the bread,I need to find the flour from a Indian grocery store to make Roti. Emeril you out did yourself I even double this recipe and it is still not enough! Next I will make it for a dinner party, that if my family do not eat it all up!

My aunt made a chicken curry for me the last time I saw her, nearly 30 years ago. I have never been able to duplicate it. This recipe came really close. The flavors were fantastic and the meat was really tender. I wanted the sauce to be a little more tart so I added some pomegranate molasses and liked the result. I might consider adding some amchur powder (mango powder next time.

I have made chicken curry once before with a much different recipe. This dish was wonderful. I chose to use boneless chicken breast and boneless thigh instead of trying to cut up a whole chicken. the next time I make this dish I will add potatoes and LESS pepper flakes. I didn't even use the 1/2 hot pepper. I definitely will be using this recipe from now on with some minor changes for my taste.

I only made the bread from this recipe. The bread is easy and delicious. I had to almost double the water in the recipe both times I have made it. It could be because I used whole wheat flour. I am not sure. Either way it turns out great.

I love this recipe. I've been looking for a good curry chicken recipe for years but to no avail - until this. I didn't have all of the spices so I improvised a little and used a little white wine for some added flavor. I think the trick is sauteeing the spices in a saucepan to really release their potency is what made this recipe so unique and flavorful. I also had to increase cooking time to 1 1/2 hours for that fall off the bone goodness. I will definitely cut down on the red pepper flakes for next time, though. All in all, definitely a keeper.

This roti recipe was very easy to prepare. I was a little alarmed at the intensity of the smells of the spices roasting in the pan but they really mellowed out beautifully once simmered with the chicken. Smells sooooo good once it is cooking!

For the roti bread, I recommend following a very EASY and authentic whole wheat roti recipe that is easily explained on youtube. I don't know if foodtv will allow me to post the link here but I will attempt it: youtube.com/watch?v=jD4o_Lmy6bU

If it dosen't post, then just search for "Roti, Chapati (Flat Indian Bread Recipe by Manjula" on you tube.

EMERIL, everything I have tried form your show has been a huge success in my home. Thank you!
