My husband and I live on a river in S. Ga., and I'm always looking for new fish recipes. I used spot-tailed bass, as that was the fresh catch, and it was delicious! Our visitors thought so, too. I followed the recipe.

I used striped bass for this one, and it turned out really good. We are trying to incorporate more fish in our diet, and this was a very nice presentation on the usual baked fish. The cuban style prepratation had a lot of flavor, and my family thought it was restaurant quality. I would say it may be a little more arduous than the easy rating suggests, but it was still pretty manageable. I will definitely make it again.

This recipe didn't take too much effort and really was quite excellent. The flavors are mild but rich and marry well together. My boyfriend loved it and my roommate said the whole house smelled like Thanksgiving (which is an awful lot better than smelling like baked fish. I will be making this again, though perhaps next time with just fillets.

Great recipe. This is the first time i have EVER cooked fish, and it turned out great! i did a few modifications, by not adding any salt and just using a bay leaf/garlic rub. I also used Tilapia fillets instead of a whole fish and reduced baking time to 30 mins... Thanks for the great recipe, my husband is a chef and even he was impressed!
