Cooked this for my family and they loved it. Cooking time is a little long, but well worth the time.

This recipe was very easy to put together. I pre-cut all the ingerdients before I cooked the recipre which made things go quicker. The kids loved it!!! One had 2 bowls and the ither had 3. I will probably add a touch more cayenne pepper because we all like more heat in our food. My suggestion try the recipe as is and then alter it after if need be.

Great but a little more spicy than we are used to. Next time will adjust the spices a little.

I have been cooking South Louisiana style food for many years. Most of my recipes I got from a couple of ladies that are full blood cajun. This is better jambalaya than the recipe I had from them. Even my extremely picky nephews ate it at our last family get-together!

We had planned on a Cajun Feast but one thing after another my friend that was going to cook had something come up. So now it was up to me in the last minute to pull something off in the next few hours. It was 3:30 and guests were expected at 6 ! I was originally going to make Gumbo but there was not enough time. This recipe was so simple and easy to prepare. Everyone loved it (which in my house can be tough We served it with a tossed salad and Hurricanes, YUM!
