I made this for a sorority event and my sorors love it. They could not believe that it was my first time making peach cobbler.

This was the best peach cobbler that I've ever made. I followed the recipe even the bread crumbs and added a teaspoon of vanilla extract. It was easy to make and once I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was delicious!!! This will be the peach cobbler recipe that I will be using.

I had to scale the recipe down to fit into two ramekins, but it worked out well. I forgot to add the flour to thicken the sauce. But everything came out perfectly. My BF devoured both ramekins! Gotta give it to the Queen of Soul "Food"!!!

This came out sooo good! I actually made my own pastry dough, for the first time, from another recipe(Emeril. The dough is really quick and easy as well, if you don't have the store bought on hand. I like a lot of dough, so I put some pieces of dough at the bottom, in the middle, and on top. This recipe is great! Will try this one again!

So, I had been Intimidated by Peach Cobbler every since I began cooking so when it was requested by my Fiance I freaked out until my Mommy told me to look on FoodNetwork. This recipe was not hard and taste like I had spent hours preparing it. It is my go to recipe now.

Yes! Peach cobbler is my favorite dessert, and although I am a horrible baker I have continued to try my hand at making it, to no avail. This recipe is finally it for me! It was delicious! I did not have a large enough dish, so I halved the recipe. The only other things I did differently were to add a bit of vanilla, probably about a teaspoon, and I substituted allspice for the nutmeg because I didn't have any nutmeg and didn't want to waste time going to the store to get any. I still used the 2 rolled pie crusts though. After I cut the bottom one to fit in my dish, I had three small pieces left over so I dished out half of the mixture into the dish, put those pieces on top, and then put the rest of the peach mixture on top of that. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but I didn't want to waste any of the dough. Please do yourself a favor and try this dessert!

OMG, I made this for dessert tonight and it was delicious. I made some adjustments to it; I added 1/4 grated nutmeg, 1 cup of regular sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla, and 3 pie dough (1 one the bottom and 2 on the top. I gave my neighbor half for her family and they came over for seconds. I agree with Wanda16327 this recipe is better than my grandmother.
