    My Husband & I tried this recipe tonight and it was really good. It had a great crispy coating. We added just a little Essence to the flour. We also had milk gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans and biscuits. Our children liked it too!

    I never knew how easy it was to make country fried steak and white gravy before until I actually took the time to read up on it, or in other words, learn. The recipe was excellent from taste to prep and taste again. Loved it!

    My husband who grew up in the south didn't think I could pull off making country style steak for him. Well he absolutely loved this recipe and so did I!

    I found the gravy rather bland and unexciting. I added garlic pepper and seasoned salt last minute to give it some umph. Probably won't make the gravy again. Country fried steak tasted good.
