    I have never seen "dirty rice" like this before and I grew up in the south. It was wet and sticky. It had a great flavor but looked like crap. It was more like a stuffing than a side dish.

    I just needed a recipe for dirty rice to serve with your chicken and sausage gumbo so I can only comment on that but I can tell you it was really good!
