These pups are are the best! I too added more onion and jalapeno! Used buttermilk also. To keep the pupps lite and fluffy, DO NOT COOL down the oil. Fry a few at a time. Lowering the oil temp.will make them soggy.

The only thing I'd change is to add some more onion and peppers to the mix. Worked perfect and tasted great. It was my first time to try deep frying
