Very easy, very good...make sure oven is pre-heated so chicken will brown.

Extremely easy and quick to make. Also easy to make variations of by using different herbs and spices or flavored potato chips.

Some friends and i at school have been making a home cooked supper every wednesday, trying new things. This week my friend said she was taking care of the main course, potato chip chicken. At first i was skeptical, i mean i love chicken and i love chips, but together? My friend who fixed it has never really be taught to cook before because her mom didnt do it ever. But watching her make it, it was so easy! And the end result was amazing! it was delicious, had great flavor and it was so fast! this is probably one of the best chicken recipes i have ever tried! and when 3 college kids can do it, you know its quick and easy! well worth fixing!

Although, I haven't tried this specific recipe yet, I have had something similiar made with halibut instead of chicken. And BBQ potato chips instead of plain potato chips. It was fantastic not to mention that my kids thought they were eating chicken nuggets! Give it a try, I will.

I HAVE MADE THIS RECIPE FROM ROBIN ROBERTS OF GMA SINCE SHE FIRST GAVE IT OUT PROBABLY ABOUT 4-5 YRS AGO. IT IS STILL A KEEPER FOR US & I HAVE SHARED THE RECIPE WITH MANY PEOPLE. SO SIMPLE BUT SO DELICIOUS. A BASIC BAKED CHICKEN WITH BUTTER, GARLIC, & CHIPS.......WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE WITH THAT?
I USED BONELESS BREAST HALVES, & SAW THE SHOW BACK THEN & THAT'S WHAT ROBIN USED AS WELL. IN THE DIRECTIONS, IT SAYS CUTLETS, SO YOU COULD USE THEM AS WELL, ADJUSTING THE TIME SINCE CUTLETS MEANS THINNER.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO EMERIL FOR ADDING THIS TO THE WEBSITE!

I didn't see the show, which may be the problem--maybe the recipe isn't correct? For example, it doesn't specify thin-sliced breasts, so I used regular boneless breasts. These took at least 40 minutes to cook through. Even in that time, the potato chip coating didn't brown on top, and the coating on the underside of the chicken was greasy and mushy. Worst of all, the chicken had no flavor at all. Sorry, Robin! I ended up throwing most of it away.
