My family loves this! I use ground turkey and add in a can of drained black beans.

I have made this several times and my family loves it. We have recently had a remodel of our kitchen and had to do a lot of eating out. My grown son came over to ask when the kitchen would be finished because he wants some taco pie. Well he is getting it tonight!

This is a wonderful and easy recipe. Everyone loved it. I used fresh peppers, onions and garlic. I also made my own taco seasoning with chili powder, cumin and other spices. Really, really good with a dollop of sour cream on top. Reheats well also. This one will be spread around to family and friends

Both my husband and myself looked at each other "wide eyed" after the first bite of this wonderful pie. It was way better than we imagined it would taste. I'd give it 10 stars.

it's a great recipe for nights when you don't have much time to make anything. prep time takes about 10-15 minutes and cooking time is short. Plus it tastes awesome.

Loved, loved, loved it! I made a few changes/additions...used taco flavored ground turkey for a healthier alternative, added black beans, chopped jalapeno peppers, and a can of diced tomatoes w/green chilles to the mixture.....so good and filling! The crust comes out nice and flaky and this is good w/ sour cream or avocado/guacamole. For a side dish I made some coleslaw with chopped cilantro, tsp of mayo, vinegar, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. It gave a nice fresh kick to the meal. My husband was not at all excited about a taco pie, but after the first bite he was sold! I will be making this again and again!

Used 2 fresh peppers (1 yellow + 1 orange as I think green and red can be overpowering and 1/2 white onion chopped vice frozen veggies. Garlic salt vs garlic and onion powder. Garnished with sour cream. Divided into 2 pies instead of 1 pot pie and froze the 2nd pie for later this month. Served a simple spinach salad on the side. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be adding this simple dish to our "staple recipes."

My boyfriend and I both had seconds of this dish. I used fresh peppers but no onions...I am not a fan. Used sour cream as a garnish...excellent!!
