I made this for our Sunday family meal and it was a big success. It was very easy to make. I did not have raisins so I used coconut.. Very good!!! I will add this pudding to my most often used recipies, Thank you Emeril

It all sounded like it would be really good but I did not care for the taste at all. Flavor was too intense for us. I make a plain bread pudding without the molasses and rum and we much prefer that type. Won't cook this one again.

This bread pudding was delicious. I made it with a hard crust Italian bread that gave it a little crunch and was a change from mushy bread puddings. The rum sauce was fantastic as well.

MY HUSBAND MADE THIS ONE DAY WHILE I WAS DOING ERRANDS. ITS WONDERFUL!! I DO THINK THE SAUCE IS LITTLE STRONG TO MY TASTE. BETTER WARM THAN COLD. ALSO GOOD SERVED W/LOW FAT HALF & HALF & WITH OR W/OUT A SLICED FRESH JUICY SWEET PEAR.
