Easy and quick. We loved this soup- would make a great superbowl dish. I will add this to my all time favorites.

Based on the reviews, I thought this might be good for a stop at a progressive dinner in our neighborhood. It turned out to be a HUGE hit. We loved and had several requests for the recipe. I used the roasted chicken another person suggested...easy and incredibly tasty. It's even better the next day and wonderful as a dip with tortilla chips.

My family thought this was really good. It was really easy. I didn't add the beans, because I'm nursing, or the hominy because I didn't have any on hand and my husband doesn't like it anyway. I think next time I might try white corn as a subsitution for the hominy. Also, it was just a bit sweet for my taste. I think I might use less tomatoe paste and see how that turns out. It's really hearty. I served it with cheese quesadilla's, but I don't think it needed it. It's a keeper. Yummy!

Very delicious! Large recipe... feeds many. Might even be better without the cream cheese.

This recipe made a HUGE pot of soup! This is perfect cold weather soup. Although it did remind me more of a chili than a soup. Will definately make again.

I made this for my family and everyone loved it. I also replaced the hominey with black beans for taste preference. I guarentee this is a meal that will satisfy all of your southwest cravings.

Outstanding Soup. It is new favorite at my house. I am going to try leaving out cream cheese for another variation.
