I made this for my family, but added some red pepper and chilie pepper along with some flat leaf parsley. I thought it was going to need some extra seasoning, and it did. Everyone liked it very much

I had this at a church pot luck and it was one of the first dishes gone. Prep is not that hard. It is almost like a mexican lasagna.

I was a little disappointed with the flavor of this dish. It was very easy and did't take much time but it tastes like it didn't take much time! I probably would not make this again.

Before I first made this, I read the reviews and all seemed to say it was bland. So I got Mexican style everything: stewed tomatoes, four-cheese blend, and used jalapenos instead of green chiles. It worked great! I've made this often, recently added Mexican style corn as well. I agree you need 8 tortillas total, 4 on each layer and can drain canned tomatoes or chiles before adding if too soupy.

This is the third Paula recipe I have made. The other two were huge successes and this one was just ok. I liked the overall flavor, but felt the dish was missing something. I'm thinking of adding tortilas chips to the top after cooking for next time, for a little crunch.

I love Paula and have made many of her recipes that we all have loved, but this was a disaster! I had to throw the whole thing away. We still love Paula, though.
