super tasty, sweet, salty and sour. And my 13 year old loved it, even saying in the begining: "Nooooo vegetables!!!!" he ate it all. I did put them on romaine lettuce instead of tortillas, and toasted tortilla strips so we dont get too full of so much starch... nd we eat more of the filling mixtures!

This recipe is great! Like others on the site I never even bothered to make the tacos. We just ate the salmon right off the planks. I saw the episode on Bobby Flay and it came out exactly the way it looked on tv. Did cut back on the curry a bit as we are not big fans. The leftover salmon was great cold the next day also.

This rub is amazing! I use it on salmon as a dry rub, cook it in the oven or on grill on cedar papers, absolutely delicious! You can modify the rub based on what you have it the cabinet and it still turns out fabulous. This is my new favorite way to eat salmon. Yum!

Delicious!!! There was a lot of the rub leftover, which is an extra bonus since I would definitely serve this again.

This is a great recipe!! My family loved the salmon and ate up two planks full! We did not make it into tacos since here in my part of Texas tacos can easily be an everyday meal anytime. The salmon was delicious on its own. The rub does take a bit of ingredients but you will have some left over for the next time you grill. The use of the cedar plank adds a nice touch to the salmon. I think you can use the planks once more but it will become a little messy due to the crusting of the brown sugar.

really really good. halved the spice recipe and still have enough for probably 3 more batches! also halved the toppings and have a lot of that left over too. so good with the mango salsa. made the tacos with yellow rice and grilled corn. i also grilled the green onions & serrano peppers and i used a bag of slaw mix to save time. reading over the recipe just now i realized i halved everything except the grilled peppers - but i love peppers so i think it was terrific the way i did it! does anyone know if you can reuse the planks?

My husband made this salmon for me for Valentine's Day. He served it with roasted cauliflower and potatoes. All I can say is WOW!! I am making it again for a dinner party this weekend. It was out of this world!! I'm sure it would be excellent as tacos as well, but we enjoyed it so much this way, why mess with it again?

AMAZING!I just made the salmon with the rub and it was fantastic! I'm not sure if all of my friends would love this but my boyfriend and 13 year old son sure did! The rub kept the salmon very moist. Brown sugar and coffee? Good stuff! I will try it as tacos tonight!

This Salmon recipe is incredible. Salmon recipes are all too often boring. Cedar Planked recipes are often boring as well leaving the plank as the only "star" but Coffee and Brown Sugar with Cumin!! The aforementioned ingredients created an awesome crust that helped keep the salmon very moist, often planking can create dry salmon. On its own this would be great but following Epicurean Cowboy John Aspras lead we made 30 lbs of this in tacos for a wedding party recently. We have bombarded with request for the recipe we must give credit where credit is due. Fantastic Try this One!!
