Made this last night for dinner and my mother took half of it home with her and the starving college student is no longer starving he tried to take the rest back to school with him. I had to grab a plate so I could have some for tomorrow. So easy to make and very tasty. My store was out of pancetta so I used bacon. My sun dried tomotoes were packed in oil with herbs but it turned out fine. I think after I drained them the extra oil helped with any dryness the dish would have had. Next time I will add a little more cheese on the top layer so the edges don't get dry. Will be making this again very soon!!

Wasn't a huge fan of this recipe...my husband loved it, though. I almost always love Giada's recipes, but this one didn't wow, and I thought it was time consuming to put together. Sorry, Giada.

The recipe suffered because the asparagus was not peeled. [Was Julia Child the only professional cook who peels her asparagus?] I repeated it with peeled asparagus and it was considerably improved.

Very good, I added a can of diced tomatos to add moisture! More cheese too, but very good!

Amazing! Hearty but light! Love the sweet taste of the sun-dried tomatoes and savory bite of the asparagus! Looks pretty fancy on the plate, too :

Yum! I made half the recipe in an 8x8 pan. It was delicious! My husband said he liked it more than a traditional lasagna, which is saying a lot. He loves lasagna!
The recipe doesn't say to put the pancetta back in, but I did. Next time I think I would go lighter on the pesto, and add some sausage.

We really loved this non-traditional lasagna. I did take some shortcuts by purchasing fresh lasagna sheets, and pre-made sun-dried tomato pesto from my local Central Market. And I mistakenly used prosciutto instead of pancetta. So prep was super easy. We loved the flavors and will make this again. Served it with a simple with vinaigrette and a glass of Cabernet.

I followed this recipe exactly and it took me about 3 hours to prepare. It was the consensus of the group at dinner that it was too dry. Also, the taste of the sun-dried tomato pesto was overwhelming. Has anyone out there tried to grate soft mozzarella cheese? Well lets just say I didn't look as happy and pretty as Giada did when she did it!! My husband asked me to throw out the recipe!
