This turned out okay when I cooked it, but there were not too many leaves to eat. Also, the sauce was kind of bland.

I love artichokes... and these were amazing!!! They were cooked perfectly, and that is the most important part. However, I did make a few substitutions... I used feta instead of gorganzola and used panko crumbs instead of breadcrumbs. I will definitely make these again, and maybe use gorganzola... i can see how it would be great!

This recipe is sooooo good! Easy for entertaining, yet looks like you've spent hours. I always get tons of compliments whenever I make them.

My GF and I really enjoyed this recipe. We took the advice of some reviewers and substituted the cream with milk and it still tasted great. We wonder what other cheese could be used in instead of/addition to Gorgonzola?

I liked this recipe. I used blue cheese instead of Gorgonzola because that is
what I had. My son didn't like them, but I would make it again for someone else.

I always use Treasure Cave Crumbled Gorgonzola. It's a very mild version and ensures you won't wish you hadn't with this recipe. I also take a short cut and use pre-chopped garlic as it mixes better and cuts down on my knife time :- I use this cheese and herb recipe with burgers too, and WOW does it impress!
Don't be afraid of this recipe it's well worth it! Most of the time spent is stirring cheese together and waiting on these wonderful creations to bake.

Cheese did not melt, stayed lumpy. Even cooked it longer. Very strong. Only ate leaves with bread crumbs and discarded the cheese. Would need to use a milder cheese that melts next time.

The recipe looked great in theory but on first bite I knew we (my girlfriend and I would be leaving most of the filling on the plate. Absolutely wonderful filling but we felt that the Gorgonzola and cream was too heavy for the delicate flavor of the artichoke. Next time we will definitely use a milder cheese and possibly quarter and grill the chokes to add depth to the flavor so they can stand up to the topping.
