I have not made these cookies yet, but I just watched the show and Giada mentions letting the cookies cool on the cookie sheet because otherwise they will fall apart like people were mentioning. She cools them until they're just warm and then eats them. Hopefully that will cure all the bad reviews.

Saw the cookies made on TV yesterday and they looked easy and tasty -- and they are. However, the recipe was a little difficult for this 40+ late bloomer to cooking. First, I didn't know whether to buy heavy whipping cream or light cream... my store didn't have anything just called 'cream.' I also didn't know what kind of chocolate to buy. My store had more than 5 varieties. The 1/3 cup of cream was no where near enough to melt and incorporate my chocolate, so I winged it in a pot on the stove. That's the only way I could get the chocolate to melt. But once past those twists, the cookies came together easily and everyone in my family enjoyed them. Perhaps an editor should take a look at the recipe?

These cookies were good. You really don't have to make the dough into logs and wrap it around the chocolate. You could have just as easily dropped a ball of chocolate right on top of a slice of the dough and gotten the same results. They were tasty though-chocolate anything works for me!

The cookie tastes good, but you'll have to eat it in pieces. The centers don't stay in, so they look disastrous. Love Giada, but sadly, these cookies are a waste of time and ingredients.

I love everything that Giada makes and these cookies are good but they aren't great. It's probably because I am a chocoholic.
