This stuff roxmysox. Awesome! It has a lot going on as far as flavors are concerned, and I can guarantee that we'll be making this stuff again. Loved the fact that the sauce isn't super-heavy. FYI - If you're feeling adventurous, substituting Jane's Mixed Up Krazy Pepper lends some great fun to it, too!

For the complexity of the taste, this was surprisingly easy to make! I was able to cook it with everything I had in the kitchen, no store run.
I served it on a bed of rissotto which made it a little more salty, so next time if I do that I will watch how much salt I am adding. I also may lay off the saffron a little bit.
Otherwise it was great and simple everyone else loved it too!

The chicken was tender and delicious, and the sauce divine.
Great as leftovers, too!

We are vegetarians so the first time I made this dish I used veg stock instead of chicken and left out the chicken. Still wonderful with so much flavor. The second time I made this dish I added shrimp also yummy and flavorful. This has quickly become a favorite!

My family loved this dish! I agree to hold the salt especially if you are using salted chicken broth. The dish is easy to make and does not take much time. I also agree with others and would prefer the sauce to be thicker so next time I plan on making a rue to thicken it up a bit. Served this with brown rice and fresh steamed peas from my garden. Don't be afraid to spend the money for the saffron. There are so many wonderful dishes that call for it and a little goes a long way. In Giada's words "So yummy"!

It is good and relatively simple and easy to make. But I must say that it tastes somewhat similar to the vodka cream sauce and other sauces that dont require saffron. It is tasty and I could see making it again, I just don't think it is 5 star delicious.
