Thanks Giada! I am not much of a baker unless you consider mixes from a box baking. This was an easy receipe to follow and the results were awesome. I haven't baked from scratch in a long time so this was great. They came out perfect! I got rave reviews for them. I said I don't look like Giada, but I can bake like her... this time.

I haven't made these yet. I did watch the video. She said to add the dry ingredients slowly, in three increments to prevent dry cupcakes. Hope that helps those of you who had dry cupcakes.

I made these last weekend for my husband. We both love chocolate, so he specifically requested chocolate chocolate chip cupcakes. A quick search led me to these. I'm a big fan of Giada, so even though I've never made cupcakes from scratch I thought I'd give these a try. Surprisingly, I found this recipe easy to follow (especially after I watched the quick video and just as easy to make! The end result came out the right consistency in the cake and delicious. These were even more moist the next day! Would definitely make again and pass this recipe along. YAY for Giada!

I've made these cupcakse a few times already and received compliments from everyone each time. I changed the recipe a little by adding freshly brewed coffee and it really enhances the chocolate flavor. Thanks, Giada, for the wonderful recipe!

for those of you who keep complaining these are too dry you might want to check your baking skills. even though your oven may say it's a certain temperature it might not really be. invest in a thermometer and check it yourself. your oven may be hotter than you think! this could cause your cupcakes to dry out even if you follow the recipe's directions to a T. cakes and such can go from perfect to dry very quickly if overbaked.

I've made a handful of Giada's recipes, and have loved every one of them. This one certainly did not disappoint. It was so moist and the flavor of the ganache was a perfect balance for the cupcake. Everyone at my office wanted the recipe and my son just informed me that it made his list of "keeper" recipes!!

What the hell did i do wrong!! I followed the recipe exactly as given but it just turned out dry and crumbly i thought i over baked them so the second batch i took them out 10 mins earlier it was not fully baked but it was still dry and lacked that wow element.

I was shocked to read the reviews that the cupcakes came out dry. Mine were so moist and decadent. The ganache is amazing. Let the batter rest for 20 minutes like Giada suggests for puffier/lighter cupcakes. MMMMMM.

I was hesitant after reading the dry reviews but I decided to make these anyway. I did add a package of sugar free chocolate pudding mix to the dry ingredients per one review to help with the dryness. I also baked for 24 minutes (one sheet at a time... These cupcakes are AMAZING!! If you are chocolate lover like I am, these will be your all time favorite... Oh, I also used store bought vanilla frosting and colored sprinkles instead of the chocolate frosting/ganche that she used. It is Easter time and I wanted to be a little festive. ENJOY!
