I just made these cupcakes for a party, and they were wonderful! Super chocolaty and perfectly moist, I will be making these again!

Holy Moly! If you are a chocolate lover, this is the recipe for you! Made for the first time today, and first time using mascarpone cheese. These are wonderful! I bought an unsweetened chocolate "baking bar". Costs less than box of squares, although 4oz size. I just added about 1oz semi sweet choc chips to make up the difference. The batter is thick & rich. Followed cooks notes & let them rest for 20 min. before baking for more height. The cooked cake is dense, rich, fudgy, moist, not overly sweet, very chocolatey. Makes almost enought ganache for "double dipping". I am a choc-o-holic, and just one of these more than hit the spot. Will most definately make again. Recipe says "intermediate", but isn't difficult.....I need a glass of milk :-.

Maybe I did something wrong, but this came out really dry after coming out of the fridge. They were nice and almost fluffy cake like right out of the oven, very yummy chocolatey, but now they are dry. Not sure I'll try these again. :(

The flavor was wonderful. Unfortunately, I overcooked the cupcakes, which is very frustrating!! Otherwise, they turned out beautifully-- I'm going to try them again without over cooking!! :

So amazing! Perfect texture and flavor. I added a dash of orange extract to both the batter and the ganache along with the required vanilla. Next time I will try a dash of peppermint extract. Making them again soon!

Delicious cupcakes. Great consistency, texture, taste. The ganache is delicious also. My 13 year old daughter and her friend made them and they were very easy to make. We will be making them again for sure!

I have finally found my go-to chocolate cupcake recipe! I followed the directions and quantities exactly as described. The cupcakes came out perfectly moist and delicious. Brought them into work so as not to eat them all myself and got lots of compliments from co-workers. The ganache was simple to make yet quite delicious. I will be using it for other desserts as well.

Made them on Sunday....it was so good!!!! I used milk chocolate chips, instead of semisweet, and I reduced sugar to 1 1/2 cup!!!!! Thank you Giada for great cupcakes!!!!!
