I made these for Easter and my entire family loved them! These are fool- proof! At first I thought the mascarpone cheese was strange but it's what makes these cupcakes SO moist. Thecake is perfect and the gamache is perfect. You will never have to find another chocolate cupcake recipe again. Thank you Giada !

I made these for my dad's birthday, and everyone absolutely LOVED them!! I followed the recipe as is, and they had great flavor and texture. I will definitely make them again!

What a great recipe. Quick to make and wonderfull airy cupcakes. A crunchy top and a litle bit moisty on the inside. To give it another dimension I used white chocolate chips and put some instant espresso powder in the batter.

You have to really like chocolate to enjoy these, which I do! I'm not sure why some of the reviews say they are time consuming to make - I thought they were pretty easy to make. They were moist inside, and the top was a little crunchy. I highly recommend!

I followed this recipe to the "T" and I also watched the episode. I had wanted to bring them to a Fourth of July party but they ended up in the trash. They were EXTREMELY dry and had an overall bad taste. They were a waste of time and money, trust me find a different recipe.

Not sure what happened to the reviewer before me, but mine turned out fabulous! I love cupcakes, but am not too keen on all the sweet icing usually piled on top, so the ganache icing tempted me to try them. These are contenders for THE best chocolate cupcakes I've ever had! Since I'm a dark chocolate fan, my ganache was made with about half dark chocolate and half semi sweet. Fabulous!

I was so embarrased. I made these cupcakes for a bake off at work. Thinking that after spending some much time and money to bake these, that they would at least be a contender. Well, most of them went in the trash, nobody wanted to finish them. They were dry, dry, dry and bitter.
