This is a great twist on the classic brownie. I'm convinced that nutella spread can really jazz up anything. And the slightly melted chocolate chips were fantastic. Nice work, Giada!! And to all the haters out there -- just try it, you will love it!

These are the most delicious brownies I have EVER tasted! I used a ghirardelli brownie mix. Added a few hazlenuts to the batter. Then when they were out I cut them while warm and placed them on parchment. Let them cool... topped them up with fresh chopped hazlenuts, and shards of dark baking chocolate! YUM! I was in heaven from the first bite!

Delicious! Will definitely be a HUGE hit around my house!

It's a good thing to make if you need something quick. I make my own brownies.

These are a big hit. But, if there are any leftovers, they are deadly to have around the house! After following the directions, I'd suggest cutting the bars into halves or quarters b/c the portion is pretty large and people feel less guilty if they just have "a bite." I know I do!

We just made these brownies for new year's eve and WOW! it was the best way to ring in the new year. They were really rich and heavy but the flavors were PERFECT! I really enjoyed how easy they were. A suggestion for those of you who liked the brownies is to garnish the dessert with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It is simply TO DIE FOR! I'd definitely make them again! Maybe I'll do that now actually......

On Christmas Day there was an array of desserts not to be believed. I placed my "lowly" brownies on the table. They were a hit and there was not one left at the end of the evening. It showed that just because it is easy to make, it can't be wonderful to eat.

this is not a recipe. Spread chocolate on store bought brownies?!?!?! I usually love giada's recipes but this is not one is dumb. P.S. Why would you chill the brownies after melting the chocolate?

Yeah its store bought, but it is still good! I try never to miss Giada's show, because she makes fantastic food! Although you know that most of her homemade recipes are time consuming, so it was great to see something just as good but only takes a few minutes.

Very rich! I couldn't find hazelnuts so I used unsalted toasted almond slices which worked very well. I am always looking for quick and easy and I agree with the other poster....I watch for ideas as well as recipes. Good one!
