I love how this recipe uses everyday stuff you have on hand, as long as you have the fish. VERY yummy and quick!

If I would have told my husband that I was making fish sticks for dinner, he would have cringed with thoughts of oily fish-less sticks that come from the frozen food aisle at the supermarket. So, of course I didn't tell him, kicked him out of the kitchen and surprised him with your crunchy, flavorful and hearty parmesan fish sticks. He eats fancy business dinners all the time and was still impressed!

I tried this recipe with Catfish, and also I added some Panko breadcrumbs along with the seasoned breadcrumbs and cheese mixture. These really turned out fantastic, they were crispy, crunchy and healthy. Its a keeper!! I and my husband enjoyed these a lot; will surely make them again.

For those who complained about it being too salty, try it without the salt. Just add powdered garlic and onion with the black pepper. It taste great! I do not know all these TV chefs have to throw in salt. There are some people out there who can not use or tolerate salt, regular or otherwise. So for them, there are herbal alternative such as garlic and or onion powder. I would give it a 5 stars rating if it weren't for the salt.

BTW the Parmesan (and almost all cheese has salt in it. No need to add extra salt to the dish IMVHO.

This recipe is now famous in my house! I made it once for my husband and now my daughter always asks for it! She will not eat any other kind of fish stick after she had these. Thankfully they are healthy and so I do not feel guilty making them so often! But they are the best anyway!!!

My family loves this recipe! My 8 yr old that doesn't like fish asks for it! it's easy and soooo good. My kids like tartar sauce, my hubbie & I like to mix pesto with some plain yogurt...gosh it's sooo good!

I loved these fish sticks. I love salmon and this was a new way to prepare salmon. I did not try the dippins sauce because I do not like mayo. I used plain bread crumbs because that is what I had and the salmon was still super. I don't know how the Italian bread crumbs could improve the taste. I will definitely cook this again.

I absolutely love this recipe. I made it twice in one week. The sauce is great and the fish comes out perfectly. I did not use Italian bread crumbs. I used panko bread crumbs and added Italian spices to it. I just like the texture of the panko better.
