This recipe was fantastic. Made it tonight with the mushrooms my local Whole Foods had in stock. These were Cremini, Shitaki, Portabella cap (BIG!.
I've never actually used marscapone cheese, so I was excited to use a new ingredient. I tasted the marscapone straight from the container, and it didn't have much flavor.....UNTIL I added it to the pan and it melted into a creamy dreamy sauce, absorbing the flavor of the wine and broth.
Thank you Giada, this recipe rocks!

after i made a few adjustments this was great! it wasnt quite creamy enough and kind of dry, i added about a 1/4 cup of heavy cream.. I also used chicken stock instead of vegetable stock. And finally i added chicken into it.. it came out great and ill definitely make it again!!

You REALLY have to like mushrooms...and pasta...and cheesy sauces b/c that's ALL this is. I'm not a big fan of noodles w/ cheese sauces (or mushrooms, really but made this for my husband thinking he would love it. Unfortunately, he did not...nor did I, obviously. It was just...too much. LOVE some other Giada recipes MUCH more. :

Very good just as written. I did add chicken also which was a good addition. We had it left over the next day and I think it was even better!

Delicious! My 9 year old daughter and I licked our plates clean! It was creamy and delicious. I used only 1/2 the mushrooms and it was still really good and not too overwhelming for a kid.

Absolutely tasty & easy to make!!! Prepared this for a quick get together with our friends - it was so creamy & rich. With all the mushrooms you certainly didn't miss the meat. Served with a salad, garlic bread & a nice bottle of white wine & you've got a hit!!! Thanks Giada!!
