I have made this a few times, but whenever I make Jiffy cornbread I will add a heaping tablespoon of suger in the batter. I will also sprinkle additioanl sugar on top of the batter as it goes into the oven.

delicious hit on Thanksgiving day celebration. I say Giada make these on the show, however this recipe is different from what I saw. Would be nice to show her variations on the recipe here for others to try.

Loved the recipe! It had a nice kick to it. Made the recipe in the mini muffin tins...they were a perfect addition to our birthday brunch menu.

I watch Everyday Italian, so last year around Thanksgiving, i caught part of the Thanksgiving episode and decided to come on this website to look for some new and more tasty recipes than the same ol' traditional American spice-free, tang-free fare. This corn bread recipe with buttermilk, sour cream, and sun dried tomatoes looked interesting, so i tried it, and O M G! it was not just pretty good, but sooo AMAZINGGGG! i think it was the buttermilk/sour cream mix that made them moist and slightly tart, and the sun dried tomatoes with the tomato infused oil they're in, gave it this mouth-watering tangy-ness. Awesome. Hands down, the best tasting baked food item i've EVER had. I highly, highly recommend them!! Baking them again this year. : (I need to try more of Giada's recipes!!

My husband and I are not big cornbread lovers, but I thought I would make this and it would compliment the recipe for the Spicy Bean Soup. It surely did! Both of us loved the texture and the flavor of this cornbread, and I will most definitely make this again. Thanks, Giada, for converting us to "cornbread" lovers!

I followed the recipe exactly, but the middle sank in. Maybe my tomatoes were too oily? The outer ring that didn't sink in was really good. Had it with Tyler Florence's Beef Chili (was AMAZING!

The EXPENSIVE sun dried tomatoes are wasted in this dish. My husband and I both thought they added nothing to the dish. It didn't taste spicy at all, just a weird flavor. We love most of her recipes but this one is bad.

I didn't use Jiffy mix for this, instead I used the recipe on the cornmeal box I had. I added the chili powder and the sundried tomatoes. I also added 1/2 cup of frozen corn. This was good. I'd make it again.

I made this for a family party and everyone loved it! I considered it keeping it my own little secret, but my Mom begged so much I had to share Giadda's recipe.

I thought the cornbread would be spicy but the sweetness of the cornmeal and the sundried tomatoes kick in and give this bread a nice flavor combination.
