Perfect for curbing your sweet tooth craving! I also recommend using less sugar as the dried fruits add plenty of sweetness. De-licious AND guilt free! What a combination!

This is a fsvorite kid and adult snack for us. we use 1/2 cup sugar because it is sweet enough with the fruit. I'm always excited to eat this treat!

Tasty side or meal. I only use 1/4 cup of sugar and it turns out great. Perfect breakfast!

Rather tasteless and dry. I replaced some of the water for orange juice, and also the olive oil added at the end for orange juice too (the olive oil gives a bad taste . I also added some cinnamon, cut prunes and dark raisins. All these changes made it more palatable.

Loved it! Nice twist on a couscous recipe, made it for friends for an eclectic dinner party and they were going back for thirds. I added orange zest while it was still warm which really added fragrance and flavor and also added a bit of cinnamon and cloves while still on the heat...could have added a bit more. Can be a bit dry as a leftover, but I just add a splash of water, throw it in the microwave and have breakfast! Filling and yummy!!

One for the recipe box. I know my pantry is properly stocked when I happen to have all ingredients on hand. Subb'ed mango for apricots and used whole wheat couscous and organic pure cane sugar. It is sweet, but it tells you that in the name. I think the olive oil drizzle not only helps with moisture but also helps temper the sweetness a little. It did make a lot, but as someone else mentioned, it could also be eaten for breakfast with a protein. I love when simple and tasty come together. My personal opinion on those who really didn't like it, so much so that they threw it away, is that they're used to more savory couscous.

Im so surprised to read all the positive reviews on this recipe. I made it today and it was very bland, boring almost. I followed the recipe exactly, and it was just really sweet. Nothing much going on. I tried it, didn't like it, then tossed it in the trash. I don't recommend this recipe to anyone, especially since it requires so much sugar! It really lacks flavor and character.

I love this recipe. I made it with whole wheat couscous and agave nectar instead of the sugar. We love it. I also added some orange zest at the end. It is rich and nutty and sweet. What could be better. I never would have thought of this as a dessert but it sure could be. Thanks for the recipe.

Definitely did not follow the recipe but it was delicious none the less. I used whole grain couscous, a very small amount of chopped raw almonds and walnuts, and a small mixture of dried cranberries, golden raisins and regular raisins. I also added only about one tablespoon of light brown sugar, some orange zest, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Since it is a bit dry at the end, instead of adding olive oil to this sweet dish I added coconut oil. Yum!
