I have used this 4 step process, in numerous recipes Thanks, This works great every time. And thanks again for showing how easy it is to section an orange for salads. Now I have a better use for oranges after I've finished using all the zest from one. Thanks again, Melissa

I made this recipe exactly as written once and everyone loved it, so I decided to make it again, but I spaced out and forgot to buy the chicken stock/broth. I searched around the kitchen for something liquidy that I could use in place of broth and finally decided to try some leftover salsa ion place of the broth. WOW. It was so delicious! I like a lot of tang, so three lemons isn't too much for me, and especially with the salsa, it's a perfect amount of popping flavor. I love this recipe and will make again and again (and I don't even like chicken!

I love this dish - it's easy and so good! My sauce did come out a bit runny, so we used it more like a dipping sauce than directly on the chicken. It was also very tangy - but that is likely because I had to use bottled lemon juice as I was out of lemons in the house. I didn't do the onions because my husband doesn't like them, and I was also concerned that he would find the sauce too tangy. He loved the meal and commented to our baby daughter that her mamma is a good cook. Nothing like a nice compliment from the husband when one's been inside with a baby all day! :- This is a keeper dish for sure. The chicken without the sauce is a tasty way to cook the chicken. You can always try a different sauce.

Maybe it's because I'm here in California with kick-butt produce, but I found three lemons are two too many. Screwed up the first batch, but the second was much better. Thanks Melissa!

When my husband tasted this "new" recipe, he said that I must keep this one".
He just loved the lemony flavor and it was easy to make. With spinach as a favorite veggie, it is the perfect bed on which to rest the chicken. This is the perfect combination for husband to eat. We make it often, using the flexible aspect to include capers.

As always, Melissa provides a recipe that is not only easy but also delicious! I am a college student so I often can't spring for expensive tools or special ingredients used by other chefs, but with Melissa's recipes, I can always deliver a delicious dinner that doesn't cost too much, but then again isn't ramen noodles. I love her asparagus, broccoli, and lemony shrimp recipes as well. Here, I reduced the lemon by half as I saw others suggest and kept everything else the same and it was great!

Our new favorite stand by! Seems like I spent hours on it and yet it is so easy! I use lemon juice but use the equivalent to the full 3 lemons. We love the lemon flavor. I have been out of thyme so have been using Italian seasoning and it seems to be just as good. Had never thought to try it with orange or another meat but after reading the reviews, I am looking forward to that. My son does not like onions, so he can just eats the chicken and it is nicely seasoned.

I love how easy and flexible this recipe is. I recently made it with shallots and orange instead of lemon and onion and it was incredibly good.
