You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces yellow mustard
  • 1 ounce brown sugar
  • 1 ounce sugar
  • 1 ounce hot sauce
  • 1 ounce balsamic vinegar
  • 2 ounces seeded and diced hot peppers
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 ounces ketchup
  • 1 ounce tequila

Directions

Using a medium-size skillet, begin by heating the mustard. Add the brown sugar, sugar, hot sauce, vinegar, peppers, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and tequila. Mix all of the ingredients well and heat but do not bring to a boil. Once the sauce is well mixed, serve with you favorite meats or store, refrigerated, in an airtight container.

    I find this sauce to be great on everything remotely related to barbecue. Also fun to experiment with the alcohol you add. I have made it with Jack Daniel's and Jim Beam and both variations were great especially with the smokiness of Jack Daniel's.

    My family loves this sauce!! I don't have a scale so I improvised on the measurements a little but it turned out great.
