I grew up on a peach farm & have tried many cobbler recipes, but this is quite possibly the worst peach cobbler I've ever tasted. The filling was bland and the topping had a bitterness to it we didn't like at all. Quite a disappointment. I'll stick to granny's recipe.

I used amaretto in mine and it was great too. The cornmeal in the cobbler makes it really sweet and tasty.

Double up on the filling. The biscuit topping was excellent.
