We are on vacation in Maine, and picked some wild apples. Looked up recipes for pie and found this one. I'm not much of a baker, but found this very simple, and turned out delicious. Great crust!

One of the best apple pies I have ever had! I did use ready made crust which made it very east to make.

I just made the Traditional Apple Pie today! My grandmother and myself made one for Easter and one for today. It was so amazingly good. I would definitly reccomend it to anyone and everyone. It was the best apple pie I have ever eating. As a 14 *almost 15* year old picky eater, you know it is good when I like it.lol.

The only thing I didn't like about the pie is all the extra goo stuff. It may be because I'm not a big fan of pie however Apple Pie is winning me over. But, over all this is a great recipe and makes a pretty swell pie

This recipe is so easy to do. Ive never made homemade crust before because i was afraid it would be so tedious and difficult. its one of the easiest things ever. I would recommend adding a little more sugar, cinnamon, and butter though, give it some more flavor.

I've been making apple pies for years and this year decided to try a new recipe, this one. It was OK but not great. If you like a tart pie, this would be the one for you.

This is one of the best recipes I used a crumb topping instead of a upper crust which gave the pie a different texture. Try it it's great! I'm deffinately making this again next year!

I must confess that I did not make the crust for this pie, only the filling. That said, the filling was extremely easy to make and tasted wonderful. I plan to make this pie for Thanksgiving.

Well this apple pie helped me get into the holidays season,I increased both the sugars and the cinnamon and nutmeg,and put the butter on top of the apples before laying the top crust it was very good I did however had to bake it for an extra 30min.though but then I really think every oven is different when it comes to baking.Add some vanilla ice cream and it was good to go.Thanks.
